IMPORTANT

Please be aware that some countries charge Import Duty and/or VAT on goods imported from the UK. This now includes both EU nations and the US.

 

Import Duty and VAT vary from country to country so I suggest you use a free online duty calculator (e.g. www.simplyduty.com) to find out how much you might be charged to import products from the UK. The Harmonised Commodity Code used for Sgian Dubhs and other fixed blade knives is 8211920000. Enter this code into the calculator to ensure accurate results.

The latest blanket import tariff from the UK into the US is 10%. To help make things simpler Royal Mail has put a system in place to process US tariff payments. Orders received from the US will be charged an additional 10% of the order value to cover the import tariff.

In Canada and most EU countries where you can expect to be charged between 15% and 27% VAT by your local tax authorities.
